At Studio AI, the song comes first.
What happens here is about bringing songs into the world — and letting them find their voice.
The inspiration for Studio AI came from a journey down the YouTube rabbit hole. I had known that AI-generated music existed, but never imagined I would use it. My passion for music — and respect for those who create it — had never led me to consider the idea. I had always hoped to form my own band to bring my songs to life, and dreamed those songs might one day reach an audience.
At one time, I pursued that dream with my good friend Sam, a gifted guitarist. Together we rehearsed, played open mics, and began shaping a band we would call Fewer Days Ahead — a name drawn from Captain Picard’s reflection on his own mortality. But life has its turns. Sam moved away, and I faced my own challenges. The band never took flight, though the songs remained — decades of notebooks filled with moments lived and imagined.
For a time, I wondered if the songs would ever leave the page. Then I came across a video exploring AI’s ability to generate music. Some results were unimpressive, some entertaining, and others surprisingly good. It sparked a question I hadn’t considered: could technology help bring my songs to life? I knew the sound I wanted to hear. Perhaps the answer lay not in purity, but in possibility.
I began to experiment. Using ChatGPT to refine ideas and Suno to generate tracks, I discovered a process that transformed the music in my head into recordings that reflected the songs I had always imagined. It was like stepping into a studio with a band and walking out with finished tracks. For the first time, the songs felt alive — not just as ideas, but as performances.
Fewer Days Ahead was the band I had once hoped to build. Now, reborn in digital form, it became the first voice in a larger idea — a songwriting studio built around a growing catalog of original songs.
From there, Studio AI took shape — a place created to bring songs into the world as they were first heard, before they find their final voice.
The artists you hear are interpretations — voices chosen to give form to each song in that moment. These recordings are not final versions, but starting points — offering a clear sense of the song’s heart, mood, and intent.
At its core, Studio AI is a songwriting studio. The songs presented here form an active catalog, created to be heard, explored, and carried forward by other artists — allowing them to listen first, understand the song, and imagine how it might live in their own voice, style, or band.
Songs in the Studio AI catalog are available for recording by agreement, giving artists the freedom to explore the material before choosing to make it their own.
My hope remains simple: that these songs find the right voices — offering connection and inspiration, and perhaps becoming part of another artist’s musical journey.
The final voice is yours.
